New Cohort of Intake 2018
New Cohort of Intake 2018
The new intake of 69 HKUST MBA for Professionals (Bi-Weekly Part-Time program) students arrived on our Clearwater Bay campus on January 17, 2018 with a fresh start of their academic year.
The new intake of students forms a diverse group with different academic and professional backgrounds who share the same passion for excellence and prestige. The students represent six different nations, including Greece, Canada, the UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China. Following in the tradition of the Shenzhen part-time MBA program, the new intake includes a dedicated group of students not only from the Pearl River Delta but also those who fly in bi-weekly, from Beijing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Chengdu, and Hai Kou, among other places.
This elite group began its MBA journey with an intensive 5-day Immersion Week, which is a live-in experience equipping students with the tools for working in a diverse environment. Students worked on real life cases and presented their brilliant ideas to the case company’s senior executives.
The group will remain on the Shenzhen campus for most of the core courses in the first year, and will return to the Hong Kong campus again in the second year for a variety of electives.
We are also excited to launch senior alumni coaching in Shenzhen for the very first time and are happy to see stronger bonds between our students and alumni.
