ALUMNI CONTRIBUTION
Leave Your Mark on HKUST

Over two decades since HKUST was founded in 1991, we have already affected numerous young people and garnered a world-class reputation as a top-tier university. This feat would have been impossible without the success and support of our alumni, whose contributions have been a driving force behind our innovation and growth.

Mr. Huang Liwei has made a substantial contribution to support the academic research of HKUST, his alma mater.

Recently, Huang Liwei, the Founder and Chairman of Prosnav Holding and one of our EMBA alumni, made a generous donation to set up the Liwei Huang Professorship in Business for outstanding faculty members. His contribution made possible the professorships of Prof. Sam Garg from the Department of Management and Prof. Abhiroop Mukherjee from the Department of Finance.

“Outstanding faculty are a key factor for university development. As an alumnus of HKUST Business School, I am proud to establish the Liwei Huang Professorship in Business, which aims to retain outstanding international scholars and promote academic exchanges. I hope this will ultimately enhance the competitiveness of businesses in both Hong Kong and mainland China,” said Mr. Huang.

Faculty is central to the quality of our education and the student experience. The named professorship set up by Mr. Huang not only honors the achievements of our professors, but also helps us attract and retain the best teachers to enlighten and inspire our students.

Today, our MBA alumni community boosts an elite network of over 5,000 leaders, change makers, and influencers around the world. We would not be where we are today without the steadfast support of our alumni and students.

Your contribution, no matter the format or size, will propel the continuous growth of our program as a cradle for brilliant minds, providing an exceptional learning experience and unforgettable MBA journey for future students.

Leave a legacy at your alma mater. If there is any way that you can help, please reach out to our alumni team at mbaalum@ust.hk. We would love to discuss it with you further.
