MBA Sundial Winter 2019
MESSAGE FROM THE MBA PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Professor Tai-Yuan Chen

Dear all,

Welcome to the fourth issue of the MBA Sundial.

Our alumni are valuable assets. Our endeavours to engage them through different programs never stop. The inaugural Alumni Homecoming with more than 700 participants was held last November; an Alumni Engagement Sample Class in Shanghai took place in last January; and the ongoing Alumni Audit Program with hot topics on cryptocurrency, blockchain and big data was offered this Spring term. All of these events were introduced with an aim to strengthen our lifetime connections with alumni and offer them more life-learning opportunities!

Apart from alumni engagement, an MBA Corporate Reception was held at the Murray in last November to celebrate our lasting relationships with corporate partners. The reception was well attended by more than 200 corporate partners. With the continuous support of our corporate partners, the annual Career Fair was held on 15 March 2019 at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel.

This Spring term, we are pleased to introduce new elective courses such as Financial Modelling and Value Investing in Asia. We are confident that these courses will equip our students and alumni with the professional skills that are necessary in today’s business world.

Enjoy your reading! We look forward to connecting with you, hearing your updates, and receiving your feedback.
